Fringe: Me, Vashya & After Miss Julie
This August, brace yourself for a double-bill of thrilling drama from director Ethan Hitchon at the Kerry Luscombe Studio Theatre, PRCPA.
First, step into the surreal world of Tennessee Williams’ ‘Me, Vashya’ - a biting satire of madness, power, and war. Then, tensions ignite in Patrick Marber’s gripping ‘After Miss Julie’, a seductive reimagining of class and desire on the night Britain changed forever.
Quartet
Once celebrated opera singers, Cissy (Pauline Telford) Reggie (John Murr) and Wilfred (Dennis Burns) are now retired and living in a tranquil English country home for musicians. Life flows with gentle routines and reminiscing until the unexpected arrival of Jean (Kathryn Prince), a diva from their past, disrupts the harmony. Old rivalries resurface and secrets bubble to the surface as the quartet are confronted with their past and an opportunity to reunite for one final, glorious performance.
